I hope everyone is getting excited about their upcoming posts and teaching schedule. April and I (Brinly) are planning on teaching DRAMA (of sorts) to the Kindergarteners. So get your little people ready for FUN! Of course, we don't know EXACTLY what we'll be teaching this Friday....:) YET!
Use the coming week to prepare. We are sure Friday is going to be wonderful!

Here are the Art lesson plans for the first 6 weeks:
Drawing
*Materials- 2 pencils with an eraser, ruler, crayons(6-12), colored pencils(6-12)
Week 1- How to hold your pencil, Making Marks, Pencil points, Variety of line, Shading and Direction of Marks. Drawing using a shape(square).
Draw any square/rectangular object.
Week 2- Introduction to tonal shading, Flat & Point shading, Shading an Area, Irregular shading, and Circular Shading. Drawing using a shape (circle).
Draw any circular object.
Week 3 -Directional Shading, Line weight in shading, Contour shading and Shading in perspective. Drawing using a shape (triangle).
Draw any angular object.
Week 4- Using color in drawing (crayons)
Use shading and tonal skills with crayons.
Week 5- Using Color in drawing( colored pencils)
Use shading and tonal skills with colored pencils.
Week 6- Shading a fish ( K-3)/ Shading a Self portrait (4-12)
Using pencil and choice of crayon or colored pencil.
